Technical Producer - Online

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage Online engineering development teams at Haven.
• Coordinate with leadership and program management to evaluate scope, manage capacity, and build and maintain clear technology and feature roadmaps.
• Help support creation of new pieces of online infrastructure to support studio and game development needs.
• Use effective communication, tools, and program management strategies to ensure that goals are met, and internal partners are well-informed.
• Plan deliverables with project Architects and Directors, validate feasibility, and drive development through the project’s entire lifecycle.
• Leverage your knowledge and expertise to ensure alignment, coordinate dependencies, assign tasks, and drive the decision making process.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including providing development planning, assessing their work performance, and looking out for career opportunities and their well-being.
• Participate in the recruitment process; conduct interviews, evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and compatibility with team and organization culture.

Experience and Skills Required

• Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent relevant working experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant working experience in live operations and managing development operations, site reliability engineering, networking, security and related domains.
• Experience in directly managing people/multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills and an effective problem solver with a well-rounded technical background.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to lead topics, generate buy in, and move topics forward.
• Capable of breaking down complex technical projects, building solid development plans, and driving product development.
• At ease discussing complex technical topics with engineers and able to synthesize information in an easy-to-understand format for non-technical stakeholder.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing an online team in gaming or similar industry.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of network security.
• Development experience with a programming language (rust, go, java, python,...)
