We are looking for a Senior UI Programmer to join the Haven Interactive Studios project team. The Senior UI Programmer will design and implement new menus & huds while building a solid and performant UI toolkit for the UI/UX artists. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Senior UI Programmer will enable the highest quality UI/UX experience for our players.

Reporting

The Senior UI Programmer will report to a Technical Producer.

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain a UI toolkit used by UI/UX artists
Develop, implement, and maintain various menus and huds (2D & 3D)
Development optimized UI software solutions tailored to the UI engine
Document UI systems and define UI standard methodologies

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years professional software development skills
5+ years experience as a UI programmer
Excellent C++ coding and debugging skills with experience in code optimization
Familiar with UI/UX concepts
Interest in working on various UI related tasks, including UI engine tasks
Ability to function effectively in a team environment, while prioritizing your own workload
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing with Unreal Engine and UMG technology
Experience working in another UI middleware
UI development experience on console (PlayStation) and PC development
Live game experience
Education background in software ergonomics
